Apostle Spoons (complete set of 13)
Apostle spoons, inspired by the Last Supper, are modelled with the figure of one of the 12 Apostles at the top of each handle. They were prevalent at christenings between 15th and 17th century England, as they were the least expensive means of giving silver at that time.
Our set of Apostle spoons is complete with a 13th spoon possessing a 24K gilt handle: The Master, or Saviour, representing Christ. The collection makes a valuable family heirloom.
